Biography
Franck Neel is a member of the Executive Board of OMV Petrom, the largest energy company in South-Eastern Europe, where he is responsible for the group's Gas and Power business. He was appointed to the Executive Board with effect from 1 July 2018, bringing a career spanning some three decades in the European energy industry across engineering, marketing and sales in several countries.
He spent 25 years with the ENGIE group. He began his career at Gaz de France, working for seven years in the engineering department, before moving into marketing and sales, where he held a range of functions in France, the Czech Republic, Hungary, the Netherlands, Italy and the United Kingdom, ahead of joining OMV Petrom.
Franck Neel studied energy at the University of Rouen, graduating as an engineer, and went on to complete a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Cranfield University in the United Kingdom. He subsequently earned an executive degree from London Business School.
